Our new prosumer "Canon PowerShot G12"!
1st P&S cam: Nikon Coolpix 3700 / 2nd P&S cam: Canon IXUS izoom
3rd P&S cam: Casio Exlim Z700 / 4th P&S cam: Casio Exlim Z80
Our 1st digicam is a Nikon, we were prompted to buy one after a short getaway to Genting Highlands in 2003. During the trip we were still using the "film" kinda camera, when we take out our camera to take pictures and ask people to take for us then we realised that we are very back dated for not using a digicam man and we actually feel kinda paisay when we ask a lady to take pictures for us as she was carrying a pretty cool digicam... *LOL*
After our 1st digicam a Nikon, we got ourselves a Canon ixus izoom (free!) and subsequently 2 Casio... .. . (Shall not go into the boring details of why we changed to the mentioned digicams)
Over the years and after trying out different cameras and of course being influenced by our peers, slowly we developed some kinda interests in photography. We have been considering for the longest time if we should get ourselves a 2nd hand DSLR or a prosumer Canon PowerShot G11 to kick off our new hobby but the considering part just go on and on until the launch of Canon PowerShot G12!
Knowing that going into DLSR requires lotsa time and money which we couldn't afford due to the limited time and resources to invest in this new hobby hence we decided to go for a brand new prosumer cam Canon PowerShot G12 to slowly and steadily learn the basics and fundamental of photography before we move on to DSLR... .. .
Our photography learning journey begins... .. .
